CareerBridge grew from a practical instructional challenge: how to give more students access to meaningful employer-connected learning. Today, it brings methodology, industry connections, technology, and implementation support together.
OUR ORIGIN
The starting point was a learning problem.
Students need opportunities to apply what they learn to work that matters beyond a grade. Student-Led Agency was developed to connect authentic employer challenges with coursework, faculty guidance, and evidence of student performance.
The next challenge was coordination: organizing projects, people, feedback, and evidence as the experience expanded.

Eloy Garza’s work in employer-connected learning brings classroom practice and institutional implementation together. Through Student-Led Agency and CareerBridge, that work connects authentic employer challenges, academic alignment, and evidence of learning.

Meaningful work-based learning should be accessible.
Our goal is to help institutions make employer-connected experiences part of the learning environments students already access. Course-embedded projects can expand opportunities alongside internships, with academic alignment and faculty oversight.
